Lecturer: Economics Education at University of Limpopo

In pursuit of solutions for Africa, the University of Limpopo wishes to invite applications for the following vacancies:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Masters in Economics / Masters in Economics Education;

• Teacher qualification (e.g. PGCE, HED, or equivalent), or Proof of enrolment towards teacher qualification.
• Driver's license

Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for:

• The facilitation of learning at undergraduate and postgraduatelevels;.
• Supervision of research projects of students at postgraduate levels;
• Publication of research articles in accredited journals;
• Participation in academicadministration;
• Development and coordination of modules in the programmes of the Department;
• Participation in Community Engagement programmes and third stream income of the Department;
• Participation in material development;
• Contribution towards the Department's transformational and strategic goals.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES):

• Knowledge and competency in teaching of Economics Education.
• Knowledge of the South African education system;
• Ability to supervise students at postgraduate level
