The Discipline of Chemical Engineering in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education’s New Generation of Academics’ Programme, has an exciting opportunity for eligible candidates to pursue a career as an academic and researcher.
The successful candidate will be expected to register for a doctoral degree at UKZN and will be closely mentored to become an academic through a programme designed to assist with early career development.
The incumbent will report to the Academic Leader Discipline: Chemical Engineering.
Minimum requirements
A BSc Engineering or B. Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering
A Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, with a pass mark of at least 70%
South African Citizen
The successful applicant will be expected to complete a PhD within 5 years from the date of assumption of duty.
