KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teaching :

• Teaching under and post graduate modules in Curriculum  Studies, Philosophy & Research Methodology. Supervision of ERTP and Master students.

Research:

• Scholarly guidance, innovation, and initiation regarding research in Curriculum studies.

Community Engagement:

• Involvement in community engagement programmes

Minimum requirements

Senior Lecturer:

• A PhD in Education (Curriculum studies) (NQF 10).
• A minimum of 5 years’ active involvement and  participation in teaching and learning in higher education.
• Leadership experience (active academic leadership and/or involvement in school and faculty committees).
• Experience in Work Integrated Learning (involvement in WIL and teaching and/or research activities at community level).
• Completed supervision of at least one master’s degree student.
• At least two published accredited publications.

Lecturer:

• A Master’s degree in Education (Curriculum Studies) (NQF 9).
• A minimum of 2 years’ active involvement and  participation in teaching and learning at school level.
