Lecturer: Sound Engineering (JB3313) at Educor Holdings

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sound Lecturer to join our team. As a Sound Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a dynamic learning environment for students in the field of sound.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate interactive classroom teaching to engage students and enhance their learning experience.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in the subject area and ensure the delivery of relevant and high-quality course content, assessments, and learning materials.
• Promote student success by implementing initiatives that improve retention and academic progress rates.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to students, assisting them in achieving their learning outcomes.
• Develop teaching programs and materials tailored to the subject discipline, including Sound Engineering, Sound Operations, and Computer Music Systems.
• Demonstrate a commitment to professional development, staying informed about regulatory requirements, quality standards, and institutional policies.

Educational Requirements:

• A relevant qualification in the subject area that meets the regulatory one-up level. A degree in Sound or a related field is required for higher education programs.
• A post-graduate qualification is advantageous and mandatory for lecturers teaching at the degree level.
• A proven teaching portfolio showcasing successful student support and outcomes.
• Minimum of 1 year of lecturing experience, with a preference for candidates with 3 or more years of experience.
• Possess specialized knowledge and technical skills in the subject discipline to develop effective teaching programs and materials, as well as provide learning support.
