Lecturer / Therapist - Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Division of Occupational Therapy at Stellenbosch University

Duties        

• Undergraduate and postgraduate teaching across the lifespan;
• Clinical supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students;
• Active involvement in the development of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching modules;
• Research supervision in the focus areas of the Division and Faculty;
• Participating in the teaching, research and community activities, as well as projects of the Division, Department and Faculty;
• Publication of research;
• Academic administration and management;
• Clinical service provision and consultation in relevant clinical areas.

Job Requirements    

• Master's-level qualification in Occupational Therapy;
• Registrable with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as an occupational therapist;
• Proven experience in university teaching, or supervision of students in the clinical setting and/or in research (undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate);
• The ability to communicate in more than one official South African language.
