Lecturer: Tshivenda Education at University of Limpopo

Requirements:

• Master of Arts in Tshivenda
• Have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience at Secondary school
• Have a teaching qualification
• PhD will be an added advantage

Competencies:

• Ability to work under pressure: individually and as a team member
• Be innovative and self-motivated.
• Strategic thinking skills
• Be computer literate
• Have a drivers licence

Duties: The successful applicant will be expected to:

• Facilitate teaching and learning at undergraduate and postgraduate levels (both content and pedagogical knowledge, that is, content and methods subject)
• Supervise Honours, Masters and PhD research projects
• Contribute to the scholarship of knowledge and the department’s publication vision
• Academic administration
• Participate in Material Development for Tshivenda modules
• Contribute towards the Department’s transformational and strategic goals
