• The School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics undertakes high-quality research in a wide variety of areas and is home to several NRF rated scientists. In the domain of Computer Science, the School’s main research areas include machine learning, big data analytics, computer vision, high-performance computing, robotics, scientific computing, formal languages and automata, natural language processing, and logic. We seek applicants who are registered Ph.D. candidates in Computer Science and related fields.

Brief Description        

• Qualifications:  Applicants should have a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields with interest in the domain of Computer Science. Applicants for Associate Lecturer must currently be registered Ph.D. candidates in Computer Science and related fields. Candidates who are at the last year of studying for PhD will have added advantage.

Duties:

• The successful applicant will be expected to teach at least one course in the Computer Science programmes and will be expected to complete their Ph.D. thesis in a time frame of 3 years or earlier.
