Legal Advisor at BitCo

BitCo seeks to employ a vibrant and dynamic Legal Officer to join the team. The legal officer's responsibilities include providing legal assistance, organizing various legal activities, creating legal documents, and advising the company on all the relevant legal issues.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

• Drafting of contracts, contract vetting, and contract negotiation where required;
• Candidates will be required to communicate clearly and effectively with all relevant stakeholders in the company,
• Candidates will be required to have a strong commercial and a basic technical understanding of the company,
• Candidates will be required to clearly identify and communicate associated risks to stakeholders where applicable,
• To provide advice on different legal issues and assisting in drafting legal opinions and documentation.
• To assist in reviewing any other legal documentation to identify the most critical issues that need to be sorted out on a priority basis
• Prevent wastage, and on an ongoing basis identify process improvements in order to contain and reduce costs
• Build working relationships across teams and functional lines in order to enhance work delivery, collaboration, and innovation
• Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards

Qualification and Experience:

• LLB Required
• Articles will be preferable
• 3-4 Years Commercial
• Telecommunications or ICT experience preferred
