    Job Description

    • Constantia Fertiliser, part of the TWK Group, has the following vacancy available: Fertiliser Sales Agent at South Coast, KwaZulu-Natal.

    Job Summary

    • This role involves promoting and selling fertiliser products to agricultural customers by providing expert product recommendations and customised fertiliser solutions and identify new business opportunities, support customers throughout the sales process, and ensure the successful implementation of fertiliser programmes.  

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Developing a deep understanding of various fertiliser products, their compositions, benefits, and application methods
    • Utilising fertiliser expertise to recommend suitable products and application strategies that align with the customer’s agricultural goals
    • Coordinating fertiliser orders, ensuring accurate quantities and delivery schedules are met
    • Providing pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance, addressing customer inquiries and concerns
    • Maintaining positive business relationships to future sales
    • Developing cost estimates and proposals for fertiliser programs tailored to customers crop needs and budgets
    • Basic fertiliser programs (Wheat, Canola, Barley, Oats, Lupins, Luzern and Cover crops)
    • Taking of soil and leaf samples
    • Crop monitoring during the growing season

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • Relevant Tertiary qualification (sales, management, agriculture)
    • 5 years’ experience in the fertiliser industry
    • BASOS certificate (advantageous)
    • Good negotiation skills
    • Team player
    • Good self-discipline
    • Target and goal driver
    • Computer literate
    • Own transport

    Job Summary

    • The Financial Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring the financial health of the organisation, and providing strategic guidance to senior management.
    • This role involves managing financial planning, reporting, budgeting, compliance functions, working capital, process optimisation, internal controls, pricing strategies, and production cost monitoring to optimise financial performance.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals
    • Conduct financial analysis and modelling to assess risks and opportunities
    • Prepare and present financial forecasts and reports to senior management
    • Assist the Finance Executive and lead the annual budgeting process with input from department heads
