Legal and Compliance Administrator at JD Group

Job responsibilities 

• Regulatory & Compliance administration
• General Legal advice and administration relating to compliance, risk and legal matters
• Resolve Legal disputes and litigation
• Administrate and maintain regulatory licenses
• Effective self-management, teamwork and stakeholder’s centricity.

Minimum requirements

• 3 – 5 years Legal compliance experience
• Legal or related qualification with Retail or Credit Provider experience for RSA and surrounding  jurisdictions experience.
• Understanding of the retail and credit provider environment from a compliance perspective
• Litigation process
• South African legislation in general and consumer related legislation in particular.
• Good understanding of POPI, CPA, NCA and FICA
• Knowledge of compliance management principles
• Legal, Compliance and Risk principles
• MS Office & Google workspace proficiency
• Draft policies & Compliance Risk Management Plans
