Livestream Producer: Technical Lead at Crypto Banter

We are seeking an experienced Livestream Producer: Technical Lead to oversee the technical operations of Crypto Banter's YouTube channels and Crypto School's live online workshops on Zoom. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and leadership skills, with a proven track record in managing large-scale live events and broadcasting for a wide audience. This role requires expertise in live streaming technology, studio management, content scheduling, and team leadership. 

Responsibilities:

• ⁠Management of all studio hardware and software. 
• ⁠Running Live Youtube streams using Vmix and Streamyard. 
• Management of the content upload schedule and associated tasks. 
• Management of upgrading or replacing studio equipment. 
• Running online Zoom conferences for 3000+ people weekly. 
• Managing both live and pre-recorded channel content.
• Lead and build up a team of technical operators and moderators in executing live workshops on Zoom, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for attendees.
• Oversee the setup and configuration of Zoom meetings, including managing breakout rooms, spotlighting participants, and controlling audio and video settings.
• Be able to link up zoom sessions with each other (we strongly prefer not to use the webinar mode for better interactiveness).
• Collaborate with the content director to develop creative concepts and interactive elements for live events, such as music integration, pre-recorded videos, and multi-camera production.
• Coordinate with external vendors and partners to integrate third-party tools and services to enhance the event experience.
• Work under high pressure and troubleshoot technical issues in real-time during live events, working quickly and effectively to minimize disruptions.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for live event production, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all workshops.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (not a must).
• ⁠5+ years broadcasting and live streaming experience (in studio) for a large audience.
• Understands YouTube video uploading (and what is required).
• ⁠Has managed an extremely active content schedule.
• Experience in Vmix and Streamyard (additional favored). 
• ⁠Proven experience in technical production for live events, with a strong understanding of YouTube and Zoom's capabilities and features.
• Experience managing large-scale events with up to 10,000 attendees, preferably in an educational or community-building context.
• Proficiency in audiovisual equipment, live streaming technology, and multi-camera production techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure.
• ⁠Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is a plus.
