    Local Service Unit (LSU) - Sales Manager

    Description

    Job Overview:

    • Lead Service Sales Growth with Hitachi Energy! As LSU Sales Manager, you’ll drive country-level service strategies, maximize Installed Base (IB) penetration, and deliver lifecycle solutions that create real customer value.
    • Collaborate across teams to ensure a unified “One Hitachi Energy Service” approach, strengthen relationships, and achieve profitable growth. We’re looking for a proven leader with deep experience in service sales and multi-product portfolios, skilled at driving innovation and collaboration in a matrix organization.

    How you will make an impact:

    Service Sales Strategy

    • Plan and implement hub service sales strategy aligned with BU and GPG targets for lifecycle services, products, and IB penetration.
    • Lead sales teams to exceed targets for orders, GM%, response time, and customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure accurate forecasting via SFDC and maintain data quality.
    • Negotiate major contracts and secure service order volumes.
    • Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and develop service-focused account plans.
    • Manage LSU budgeting, sales, and operations planning with Hub and GPG teams.

    Customer Engagement

    • Build strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
    • Understand requirements and deliver value through tailored service solutions.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction issues are tracked and resolved promptly.

    Sales & Market Development

    • Support sales activities and marketing events, including trade shows and product launches.
    • Develop pricing strategies and conduct market analysis to maximize profitability.
    • Implement e-commerce strategies and share insights on IB data, market trends, and competitor solutions.

    Compliance & Risk

    • Ensure adherence to tendering processes, risk reviews, and HSE standards.
    • Monitor client financial status and manage contractual risks.
    • Promote Hitachi Energy’s safety, integrity, and sustainability culture.

    Leadership & Development

    • Organize and coach the service sales team to drive efficiency and growth.
    • Develop selling skills and customer segment expertise.
    • Foster collaboration and innovation across teams.

    ​​​​​​​Your Background:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant education with the role
    • 10+ years of experience in Service Sales, including Installed Base (IB) management.
    • Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
    • Proven understanding of Hitachi Energy systems and products.
    • Experience in the Energy sector.
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
