Logistics Coordinator - Witbank at Glencore

The incumbent in this role is responsible for monitoring trains, ensuring all scheduled trains are received and capitalise on additional resource availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaising with all Glencore loading sites and different ports.
• Processing train release documents received from loading sites and forward to different recipients.
• Distributing train schedules.
• Executing daily train plan against schedule.
• Monitoring train-handling times at the various loading sites.
• Advising loading sites on train departures and estimated time of arrival.

Minimum Qualifications

• Relevant Tertiary Qualifications (Train Operations).
• Driver’s License (Code EB/08).

Minimum Experience

• 10 Years’ experience in train planning, execution, monitoring and general train operations.
