Logistics Export Coordinator 

Roche Diagnostics in Midrand is seeking a Logistics Export Coordinator to play an integral role in the Customer Service function by defining and implementing export controls for Roche, aligned with the global and regional Strategy, coordinates the outbound export supply chain requirements and ensuring transparency and traceability both internally and externally, manages the availability and correctness of documentational requirements and ensures timely availability of documentation and related information to support the export customer service function, the Sales and Marketing team and Finance Business Partners with information, and bringing insights on how to improve the Customer Experience and the relationship between Roche and its customers.

Key Responsibilities
Among other duties the role will entail:

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
• Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively.
• Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures.
• Coordinate export logistics according to availabilities and requirements.
• Communicate with service providers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.
• Liaise with approved third party transporters to meet customer requirements.
• Compile export documents.
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
• Full operational and customer service responsibility for all shipments.
• Manage shipping costs, rates and routing options to obtain best solution for clients.
• Keep logs and records of consignments, executed orders etc.
• Ensure compliance with all export regulations and  legislation, including hazardous goods, IATA, IACSSP, IMO and FMC.
• Prepare accurate reports for management.
• General administration and filing.

You, as an ideal candidate, will have the following skills, experience and education:

• Required Qualification: NQF 6 in Procurement, logistics, supply chain or similar is required
• Required Experience: At least 5 years procurement, supply chain, finance and/or logistics administration required
• Must have knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
