Develop and implement Logistics management procedures and protocols specific to the healthcare industry.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment to meet operational needs while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
Collaborate with various departments to forecast demand, anticipate inventory requirements, and plan procurement accordingly.
Conduct regular audits to track inventory accuracy, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective measures.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and distributors to negotiate contracts, evaluate performance, and ensure timely delivery of quality products.
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including proper storage, handling, and documentation of medical inventory.
Utilize inventory management software and systems effectively to streamline processes and optimize inventory control.
Inherent Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain / Logistics Management, or a related field.
Minimum of X years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the healthcare industry.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare inventory practices, regulations, and compliance standards.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software/tools.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and lead a team effectively.
