Logistics Practitioner Final Product (Limpopo) at Samancor Chrome

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To capture and process data in order to schedule deliveries and to control and reconcile Final Product stock levels. 

SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY

• Identify and assess level of continuous risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to business, financial, legal issues, people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc.
• Consider the level of risk, apply mitigation and implement control measures for residual risk (set objectives, minimum requirements, etc.)
• Comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)
• Utilise the Integrated Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status us

CUSTOMERS 

• Ensure Customer Satisfaction
• Liaise with Transport Contractors and Marketing Personnel

BUSINESS PROCESSES 

Quality:

• Monitor Final Product Quality
• Liaise with Marketing and Consumers
• Ensure pre-shipment quality conforms to requirements

Consumption:

• Monitor crushing plant processing

Stocks:

• Monitor Final Product stock levels
• Calculate and reconcile final product stocks
• Investigate and resolve stock shortages 

SAP and MES Systems:

• Maintain Final Products Systems data integrity

Reporting:

• Compile Final Product Reports and report quality deviations

Requirements

Minimum qualifications: 

• Degree or National Diploma 
• N3 certificate studying towards N4 (Internal)
• 4 years' relevant experience preferably 1 years' supervisory experience
• Valid Driver’s licence
