Logistics Specialist: Raw Materials - Mining Industry - Market Related at Hire Resolve

Responsibilities:

• Manage SHEQ compliance within the Section through effective use of the Toolbox
• Utilize the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status
• Ensure Customer Satisfaction (SLA agreements)
• Coordinate and supervise the activities of contractors on-site
• Maximize Surface Mobile Equipment utilization on the plant
• Supervise peripheral operations
• Update Process Strategy
• Provide inputs to the Operational Strategy
• Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and implement findings
• Conduct machine application studies and present finding to lead team
• Conduct time and motion studies on SME tasks.
• Achieve process budget
• Challenge current operational processes and formulate new ideas.
• Report process measures
• Implement improvement projects
• Adhere to the Maintenance Schedule
• Conduct inspections on Surface Mobile Equipment tasks to ensure that the desired quality outputs are achieved
• Manage furnace and PSP recipe against the budget
• Manage quality of Raw Materials and address non-conformance
• Conduct regular inspections on Supervisor machine application control and make recommendations to the superintendent
• Manage Continuous Improvement through Operational Excellence
• Monitor and control section costs

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• B.Eng./BSc. (Eng.) Degree or ND Diploma
• 4 years of relevant experience
• Logistics or mineral processing experience
• Knowledge of SAP systems and MS Office
