We are seeking a skilled General Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing general maintenance tasks and repairs in a variety of areas, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, facilities, and buildings to ensure they are in proper working condition.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting equipment, replacing filters, and performing minor repairs.
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry issues.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Assist with setting up and tearing down equipment for events and functions.
Monitor and replenish supplies as needed.
Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Periodically inspect and assess the condition of equipment and facilities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in general maintenance work.
Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry principles.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certifications in specific maintenance areas are a plus.
