Purpose of the Job 

• To safely carry out preventive maintenance and repairs in line with documented work instructions

• Complete a breakdown work order.

• Conduct regular plant inspections.
• Maintaining and/or repairing low level and high-level instrumentation and technical equipment.

• Performing work in a safe and reliable manner ensuring the highest level of workmanship
• Assessing breakdowns and applying appropriate fault-finding techniques to pinpoint root causes quickly and efficiently.
• All defective equipment identified and reported timeously.

All instrumentation maintained and/or repaired correctly, safely and according to standards;

• Interpret instrumentation diagrams and job cards.
• Lock-out equipment
• Check instrumentation.
• Order parts from the stores
• Repair instrumentation
• Overhaul instrumentation

Requirements

• Grade 12 / N2 
• Relevant Trade Certificate 
• Medical fitness as per organizational requirements
