Ensure that the Industrial HVAC and Refrigeration systems are inspected daily for conformance and that the necessary actions are taken to correct any deviation from standard. This includes regular maintenance and cleaning and recordkeeping of all work done.
Assist the Maintenance Technician in day-to-day maintenance operations.
This includes:
Assisting with the tasks logged on the Maintenance tickets.
Assist team leaders in urgent maintenance matters to ensure that product can be made on time and according to the production schedule.
Assist in the maintenance of all cold rooms, air handling and air conditioning units.
Assist with interchangeable duties throughout Roodeplaat as required and only if approved by the Operations Manager.
Ensure that you always wear the necessary safety equipment.
Ensure that all scheduled work during a maintenance week is performed and documented.
Qualification:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Industrial HVAC and Refrigeration.
Valid Driver’s Licence
National Certificate: Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration and ventilation (NQF Level 3)
Knowledge / Experience:
Equipment and tools (E.g. grinder)
Basic knowledge of OHSA
Handling hazardous materials
Basic electrical knowledge
Demonstrated experience working effectively as a member of a highly technically skilled team.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including flexibility and the ability to work well in a team environment.
