Maintenance Configurator - Alberton at Rand Water

Job Advert Summary    
To be responsible for controlling the site’s codification process, technical and operational documentation, procedures, including drawings and changes.

Minimum Requirements    

• Grade 12, (N3 or T1)
• 4 Years’ experience after qualification of which 2 years with Rand Water and 2 years further in configuration
• Management and codification training or similar
• Working knowledge of engineering drawing and codification system
• Exposure to computerised maintenance management system
• Exposure to reliability – centre maintenance

Primary Duties    

• Develop, implement and control the Change Controlling System
• Co-ordinate plant modification procedures
• Understanding of a Maintenance Management System
• Codification Audits (Walkdowns)

Knowledge    

• Working knowledge of engineering drawings
• Change control procedure and ISO 9000
• Configuration Management System
• WKS Codification
