Maintenance Leader Finishing Pinetown at Tetra Pak

Job Summary

To apply Maintenance knowledge, automation skills and tools to deliver the results within their own specialist area.
Work with the line managers and production team whilst applying WCM principles and methodologies to achieve overall process and factory KPIs.

The successful candidate will be based in Pinetown, Durban and report to the Maintenance Manager.

What you will do

• Ensure equipment safety compliance to legislative requirements and Tetrapak standard. 

• Overall reliability of equipment’s of respective process through planning, directing and scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Provide technical leadership to technicians and operators for machine troubleshooting, root cause analysis and implementation of effective counter measure.
• Drive innovation to improve maintainability, energy efficiency, machine ergonomics. 
• Lead development of technicians within the cell
• Drive the development of performance objectives for Technicians and their review

We believe you have

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent or Diploma in engineering
• At least 2-3 year’s experience as maintenance engineer
• Background in Mechanical/Electrical maintenance experience
• WCM knowledge and application Knowledge of developing preventive and predictive maintenance programs and repair procedure Project Management
