Maintenance Manager at Helderberg Personnel

Key Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To

• Plan, schedule and supervise all preventative and reactive maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems
• Inspect facilities regularly, identify issues, and implement effective solutions
• Oversee servicing and maintenance of refrigeration units and air-conditioning systems
• Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers, ensuring quality and cost control
• Source, purchase, and maintain adequate stock of essential maintenance supplies
• Monitor and manage the maintenance budget while maintaining accurate records

Criteria

• Post-school technical qualification or trade certification advantageous
• Minimum 3–5 years’ maintenance management experience within a five-star hospitality environment or comparable high-end property
• Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and oversee maintenance programmes
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems
• Computer literate and comfortable with maintenance management software
• Energetic, motivated, and collaborative, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Flexibility to work shifts and respond to after-hours call-outs when required
