Maintenance Planner Assistant (North West - Rustenburg)
Ensure compliance with organisational policies by maintaining up-to-date knowledge, participating in training sessions, and proactively sourcing answers to queries on a daily and as-needed basis.
Comply with established processes through accurate implementation, continuous process awareness, and timely resolution of any areas of concern.
Propose process improvements by identifying opportunities, presenting recommendations to the line manager, and supporting suggestions with relevant information and insights.
Support the completion of allocated maintenance planning by defining plans aligned with the work management process and departmental priorities, reviewing and submitting for approval, tracking adherence, providing guidance and support, and escalating non-compliance within set deadlines.
Assist in completing planning adherence schedules and reports by gathering and reviewing data in alignment with work plans, and preparing reports using defined templates within required timeframes
Support the implementation of new methodologies and technologies by attending relevant training, applying changes, monitoring outcomes, and providing constructive feedback within specified deadlines
Recommend improvements to planning by identifying opportunities, conducting evaluations, formulating recommendations, and presenting them for approval as needed.
Place orders for required spares and materials by receiving requests, submitting through procurement channels, and tracking delivery and receipt into stores as necessary.
Ensure effective implementation of SHE by delivering comprehensive training, completing training programs, and addressing any identified gaps or non-compliance.
Monitor SHE performance by establishing clear standards, ensuring timely completion of monitoring activities, and resolving issues within defined deadlines.
Maintain ongoing SHE compliance by reviewing current practices, identifying deviations, and correcting them within established timelines.
Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders by facilitating regular communication, exchanging feedback, and supporting collaboration.
Requirements
Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.
Diploma or related in Engineering, Planning, Project management or similar.
N3 or N4 or relevant qualification.
Relevant trade test certificate.
3+ years Maintenance Planning / Administration / Project Administration experience within a work management process and operations environment.
2+ years within maintenance profession or technical area.
