Maintenance Supervisor -Rustenburg at Tsebo Solution

• Tsebo Facilities Solutions is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to supervise, coordinate, and monitor planned, preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance activities across multiple maintenance disciplines within the Vacation Club. The role ensures that facilities, guest rooms, infrastructure, and building services are maintained to the highest operational, safety, and quality standards while supporting an exceptional guest experience.

Duties & Responsibilities    
Maintenance Operations

• Coordinate and supervise daily maintenance activities.
• Allocate resources effectively to ensure completion of planned and reactive maintenance work.
• Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to service delivery standards.
• Identify maintenance requirements and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Team Leadership and Supervision

• Supervise artisans, technicians, handymen, apprentices, and contractors.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to maintenance personnel.
• Monitor team productivity and work quality.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Facilities and Asset Management

• Conduct inspections of guest rooms, facilities, infrastructure, and building assets.
• Ensure maintenance work complies with company standards and operational requirements.
• Monitor the condition of equipment and facilities and escalate major repair requirements.

Contractor Management

• Supervise external contractors performing maintenance activities.
• Ensure contractors adhere to scope, quality, safety, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor contractor performance and completion of work.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure compliance with SHEQ policies and health and safety legislation.
• Identify and mitigate maintenance-related risks.
• Promote safe work practices across all maintenance activities.
• Maintain a safe working environment for employees, contractors, and guests.

Administration and Reporting

• Maintain maintenance records, schedules, and documentation.
• Compile maintenance reports and updates for management.
• Monitor completion of scheduled maintenance and asset history records.

Qualifications    
Education

• Relevant Trade Qualification.
• Trade Test Certificate.

Experience

• Minimum 3 to 5 years' supervisory experience within facilities management, property maintenance, hospitality maintenance, or a related environment.
• Experience managing maintenance teams and contractors.
• Proven experience coordinating preventative and reactive maintenance activities.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's licence.
