Maintenance Technician - Green Point at Status Staffing

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 – 2 years’ experience
• Red Seal
• Knowledge and experience with the Intellibus System
• Carpentry Knowledge
• Strong ability working with hands
• Strong technical ability
• Sound knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety
• Able to act decisively and quickly when necessary 

DUTIES:

• First response assessment of all repairs as identified by the team
• Carry out emergency repairs as required
• Carry out maintenance and repairs to electrical and electronic systems within capability or advise requirement for contract assistance
• Carry out repairs to building exterior or advise requirement for contract assistance
• Carry out repairs to all appliances including stoves, refrigeration units, laundry equipment and machines or advise requirement for contract assistance
• Carry out repairs to geysers, HVAC, Water systems & Pumps. Carry out repairs to all fittings, fixtures and appliances in all areas or advise requirements for contract assistance
• Provide feedback to FM and MM as required
• Ensure that response times are met as per guidelines
• Skimming and painting of building
• Plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Carpentry knowledge
• Ensure effective cost management with regards to repairs and maintenance
• Identify opportunities for cost saving management
