Management Accountant

RCL FOODS is seeking a Management Accountant (Further Processing) to join our Chicken Processing Division. The role will be based in Hammarsdale and report to the Commercial Manager. This position plays a key role in the development of the Finance team’s commercial engagement with the business. The individual will be responsible for the ongoing advancement of a suite of commercial reporting that will provide meaningful insight, stimulate further discussion and assist in focused strategic decision making. The individual will drive development of monthly reporting packages for our further processing plants in order to maximise group opportunity, maintain consistency and take advantage of potential synergies.

Minimum Requirements

• Bcom Accounting degree or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 3 years Cost Accounting or Management Accounting experience within manufacturing or FMCG industry Newly qualified CA(SA) or CIMA will be advantageous
• Must have good report writing skills
• MAC's systems experience will be advantageous

Duties & Responsibilities

• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Oversees, analyses and interrogates results captured on a daily basis by cost administrator, factory and external resources
• Managing the focused delivery of accurate daily results
• Maintaining the excel consolidation models that generate weekly and monthly reports
• Coordinate the reporting of the cost administrator and management of contributions to the reporting pack from all departments within the business.
