    Manager: Commercial Partnerships

    The Manager: Commercial Analyst is accountable for assessment and analysis of existing and new affinity partnerships in terms of their performance, the opportunity to improve performance and thereby guides the Senior Manager Affinities and the Head Affinities with insights and recommendations to achieve targeted value contribution by the affinities department.


    • Evaluate existing partner performance, both commercial as well as operational, identify areas of excellence and/ or weakness and collaborate cross functionally as well, supported by the General Manager and account manager, to identify solutions. Model these.
    • Identify growth opportunities with the account manager by analysing the book, the operational as well as commercial performance and market related activities by competitors.
    • Support new business acquisition by modelling the proposed commercial arrangement and establishing whether it may achieve required margins and growth objectives. Collaborate with finance, draw on market relevant trends and competitor activity and thereby support the Head of affinities in concluding new partnerships.
    • Support the broader business unit with analytical, commercial modelling in support of any people, process or technology initiatives designed to support growth and business development.
    • Accountable as the custodian of the TGI database and associated analytics and reporting.



    • Grade 12 (Standard 10) with University Entrance


    • A relevant 3 year Business related degree / diploma in Business Management and/or Marketing.


    • 3 - 5 years strategic relationship / key account management experience
    • SAQA Accredited Equivalent - It is the onus of the applicant to provide TIH and its subsidiaries with certified evidence that their qualification(s) meet the equivalent NQF level required for this role at time of application.
