What you’ll have done before:

Baseline:

• NQF Level 7 (Degree in Engineering or Science)
• 10 years experience managing HSEQ function with 5 years in Risk Management
• 5 years managerial experience

Advantageous:

• Post grad qualification
• Previous exposure to Board

What you’ll be doing

• Formulate, and drive the strategy, philosophy and concept of risk management and mitigation programs to minimize the loss of life, impact on environment and assets
• Lead the portfolio involving development and maintenance of hazard effects management process (HEMP), PSM and Fire and Emergency protocols aligned to legal and technical standards as defined by in-country
• Develop and implement an annual HSEQ Assurance Plan for approval at BARCC to ensure execution of structured audits across the organization.
• Provide insights from assurance and risk studies
• Ability to interpret risk studies and develop strategies to mitigate them
• Represent Engen in technical committees in the industry association and government
• Forecast the annual budget requirements and manage the departments CAPEX and OPEX plan to meet the target plan
• Develop/present/manage annual Departmental OPEX business plan/budget and determine departmental forecast for year ahead
