Be in possession of an LLB (Bachelor of Law) degree with commercial and property law.
Should have 4 – 6 years of legal advisor experience.
Have 1 -3 years of practicing as conveyancer.
Have commercial and property law experience.

Responsibilities
Deliver an effective and efficient legal support function in respect of land and boundary matters in the KNP and other national parks when required.
Ensure compliance to internal policies and processes.
Ensure compliance to all relevant legislation.
Draft contracts relevant to the land audit.
Draft legal opinions.
Establish and manage the database pertaining to land owned and managed by SANParks in respect of the KNP and other national parks.
Build and maintain purposeful stakeholder relationships (internal and external).
Provide legal support regarding the KNP land inclusion, cooperative and contractual management agreement protocols as well as land/property matters in general.
Initiate declaration and withdrawal of declaration processes, as well as attend to legal matters arising from KNP boundary determination.
Create and maintain a culture of good corporate governance and proactive project and financial management.
