Manager- Network Investments- Emerging Markets Responsibilities

• Manage a team overseeing financial structuring of infrastructure investments & partnerships, co-investments and strategic planning (both strategy and operations)
• Be responsible for people management, providing performance reviews, continual feedback, coaching (soft and hard skills) and career growth
• Lead the direction and expansion (hiring) of the team, helping to scope future roles as the charter of the team grows
• Support the full lifecycle of infrastructure investments from opportunity assessment, business case development, due diligence, structuring, negotiation and execution, and third party capital raises
• Lead a team in developing strategies to solve diverse economic and business challenges across the network lifecycle, and translate strategies into actionable projects/programs
• Drive prioritization of opportunities and decision-making for complex cross-functional and special projects (e.g., co-investments, business case development for new initiatives)
• Champion internal and external stakeholder decision making through influencing, exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Ability to travel internationally up to 30% of time

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing or other related discipline
• Managerial: +4 years general management experience across strategy, business development, engineering and/or finance. Demonstrated experience in managing people, growing teams, and developing a team culture
• Industry: +7 years of experience in telecommunications, mobile, or internet space in a strategy, management consulting, corporate development, finance/banking or M&A capacity
• Financial: Business and financial acumen obtained through M&A, corporate development and/or private equity transactional experience
• Demonstrated negotiation skills, partnering and influencing skills across all levels of an organization as well as with key outside partners
• Ability to think at a strategic level while simultaneously rolling up the sleeves to solve for key opportunities and problems
• Experience with ambiguity and change and bringing clarity to a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience presenting to senior audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA
• In-depth knowledge of at least one emerging market geography: the markets: challenges, current trends, impact on business strategies
• Project finance, capital markets, infrastructure-related investing experience, preferably in telecoms sector
• Technical and market knowledge across telecoms infrastructure and technology
• Experience engaging or working with telecommunication operators, especially those in emerging markets
• Experience using analytical tools: excel, tableau, visualization, or GIS/mapping
