Our client, one of the world’s most luxury beauty companies within the FMCG industry, is currently looking for a Marketing Intern to join their office in Cape Town.

This internship is for a duration of 1 year and therefore will grant you great exposure, knowledge and work experience to add to you cv!
You will learn and increase your marketing skills, whilst learning how an international cosmetic and beauty brand grows and markets their products. You will also learn how a marketing department operates with implementing its key initiatives across Africa.
This is a fantastic opportunity for all recent graduates and previous work experience withing a FMCG or beauty industry is a plus!

Salary: Market related

Requirements

•         Degree in Marketing Management or related
•         Marketing work experience within FMCG or Beauty Industry (such as Foschini, Clicks, Edgars)
•         Passion for the beauty & cosmetic industry
•         Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
•         Understanding of different marketing techniques
•         Experience with marketing computer software (e.g. CRM tools) advantageous
•         Familiarity with Social media channels
•         Flexibility and Autonomy

Key Responsibilities:

•         Support cross-functional and multi-brand projects 
•         Collaborate on annual marketing planning
•         Support the Marketing Development team with implementation of key initiatives across Africa
•         Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
•         Perform market analysis and research on competition
•         Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
•         Assist team members with the creation of content for social media platforms 
•         Help in the creation and editing of content for the blog and newsletter
•         Help distribute marketing materials
•         Support Event marketing team to help organizing events
•         Compile and prepare management presentations 
•         Marketing Development Team support in day-to-day business
