    Marketing Manager

    LegalWise seeks to employ a Marketing Manager, with the responsibility of providing marketing thought leadership in developing, implementing and measuring marketing activity in support of the business strategy for LegalWise and all other Group entities.

          You will be responsible for:

    • Generating, interpreting and analysing market intelligence information in respect of our Member expectations, service delivery, as well as consideration of local (competitor and non-competitor) and international best practices.
    • Managing of national and regional marketing programmes (i.e. campaign management and measurement).
    • Overseeing the conceptualisation and implementation of all digital marketing campaigns.
    • Designing and management of merchandising (brochures, e-brochures, etc.) inclusive of drafting of content, layout, printing and distribution.
    • Managing and overseeing the design, sourcing and ordering of all sales support material (i.e. exhibition material).
    • Managing stakeholder communication with respect to Branch openings, relocations and closures.
    • Digital asset development and maintenance thereof, including but not limited to website, .mobi, USSD and the LegalWise App.
    • Acting as a custodian of the LegalWise brand ensuring adherence to relevant policies and procedures, which include, but are not limited to, Visual Identity, etc.
    • Analysing performance data as well as preparation and submission of relevant reports within agreed time frames.
    • Effective use of management information to manage operational areas and to identify opportunities, risks, trends and possible cost saving and efficiency improvements.
    • Identifying areas of non-compliance and implementing appropriate internal controls to mitigate such risks in collaboration with the Internal Audit, Compliance and Risk Departments.

          Qualifications and Experience Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Marketing or related field or recognised equivalent (NQF level 7).
    • Relevant formal management qualification advantageous.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management level position (preferably within financial services).
    • Previous experience with planning and developing integrated media, digital and multi-channel campaigns.
    • Experience in respect of budget management, human resource practices and operations essential.
    • Must be computer literate.

          Skills and Competencies Required:

    • The ability to build rapport, motivate and inspire people.
    • Good networking skills to build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • The ability to work independently without supervision.
    • The ability to demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent people skills and able to liaise professionally and effectively on all levels.
    • Problem solving abilities and negotiation skills.
    • Must be proficient in English and any other official African language/s.

          Other Requirements:

    • Must relocate on own cost.
    • ITC/criminal check will be a requirement.
    • Applicable Psychometric assessment/s will be a requirement.
    • Must have valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
    • A willingness to travel in and outside of South Africa and be willing to work after hours.
