    Sales Representative - Cape Town

    Job Description

    The HANGAR49 team is looking for a dynamic and sales driven Sales Representative who is responsible for developing a database of potential clients through prospecting and bringing in new business opportunities. The primary objective of this role is to bring in new clients for the business. In addition, this role is responsible for ensuring that they have a good understanding of HANGAR49 service offering in order to sell the company offering effectively.

    Key Areas of Responsibility

    Prospecting and Lead Generation

    • Achieve the monthly target of new leads for HANGAR49. This includes bringing in new leads for the business in order to achieve a monthly target.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that all lead sources are properly identified, tracked, and optimised.
    • Prospect potential clients by conducting thorough research of companies/clients and act on any realistic prospects.
    • Proactively schedule calls with prospective clients via phone and email (including cold calling). This includes utilising a variety of online tech tools to advance leads to the business. 
    • Work closely with the HANGAR49 team to act on any potential leads and clients that they have identified and interact with other sales and marketing staff to identify potential new clients. 
    • Nurture each new lead by consistently following up with and setting up appropriate appointments to sell and articulate the value of HANGAR49, but also to understand the potential clients’ needs. 
    • Keep a record of all prospects and leads for tracking purposes. This includes tracking leads brought in, the status of lead, whether they have been called or not, whether they need to be called back, etc.  

    Product Knowledge

    • Have a full and detailed understanding of the HANGAR49 service and product offering in order to sell adequately and educate potential new leads about the business offering.
    • Regularly communicate with key internal employees to understand any new business offerings which may appeal to new leads and keep abreast of new service offerings or changes.
    • Keep abreast of industry trends and knowledge and harness this to sell the HANGAR49 offering to potential customers.

    Client Relationships 

    • Nurture new prospects/leads end to end, from initial contact with the lead to onboarding of the new client.
    • Communicate effectively and efficiently along the journey so that they can experience the HANGAR49 client service excellence during the sales process.
    • Manage and actively find solutions for lead queries and concerns.

    Digital Project Manager

    Job Description

    The HANGAR49 team is looking for a Digital Project Manager who is a natural people person and excellent at building and nurturing client relationships. The Digital Project Manager will be responsible for owning the client lifecycle from onboarding of new clients as well as managing and growing client relationships. The digital project manager is responsible for ensuring that the service HANGAR49 customers receive is nothing less than excellent, while guaranteeing success and delivery of results by the final agreed upon destination.

     Key Areas of Responsibility:

    Client relationships management

    • Onboard new clients by building rapport and a trusting relationship.
    • Build a nurturing journey with the client’s creative teams that will ensure they Invest time and energy into moving customers smoothly through the steps in their journey at HANGAR49.
    • Educate and work with clients to ensure that they are receiving the best service offering to achieve their desired goals.
    • Be a client custodian by communicating efficiently and timeously with clients.

    Client Journeys

    •  Ensuring that client projects are completed on time and to the desired client standard.
    •  Understand the clients’ needs and desired goals and gain detailed insight into who they would like to target.
    • Build a client journey which facilitates the client goal. This includes equipping the client and the sales team to achieve their targets.
    • Collaborate with clients and the relevant freelancers to nurture the client journey.
    • Track and monitor client progress and experiment with clients to create a better service offering, continuously improving the client journey.
    • Ultimately, own the client relationship and take responsibility for client satisfaction.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 3-5 years of customer experience.
    • Prior project / client management exposure.
    • Experience in managing a team / being a team leader.
    • A background in a tech field is preferable.
    • Monday.com, GSuite, Notion, Slack, or Click-up experience.
    • Willingness to learn.The ability to organise, analyse and work proactively towards achieving agreed upon results.
    • Willingness to go above and beyond.
    • Eager to build experiences that delight the HANGAR49 clients.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • A keen interest in technology and new industry trends.
    • Comfortable with ambiguity and change.
    • Organised, meticulous and proactive.
