    Marketing Manager

    Purpose of the Position:

    • To assist with the management and implementation of consumer marketing campaigns to ensure alignment with the business objectives and overall value add to the business.

    Key Performance Objectives
    Tasks
    Marketing Management

    • Oversee all marketing production process from brief to delivery on Brand, products, packages and services campaigns
    • Brief Media agency on campaigns
    • Deliver on Digital assets where necessary as part of campaign delivery.
    • To Promote a positive brand image that will lead to an increase in the overall subscriber base throughout the Africa
    • Drive brand awareness, consideration, acquisition and positive customer behavior
    • Drive Customer education, Self Service awareness and usage through marketing campaigns
    • Drive awareness of packages offered as well as upgrades and downgrades
    • Drive Awareness and usage of VAS services/products and other digital platforms across all spheres
    • Drive retail/point of sale branding and marketing collateral

    Operational Delivery

    • Implement all marketing plans to promote acquisition
    • Implement all marketing campaigns to promote customer education on self-service for all brands
    • Plan and Manage all marketing campaigns, new products and services
    • Assist in the planning and implementation of country specific Brand activities and ensure alignment with corporate brand objectives.
    • Liaise with agencies and internal teams regarding on-air material and consistency
    • Manage brand packages education and upgrades and downgrades (flexibility) marketing campaigns
    • Ensure countries implement all marketing campaigns on ATL and BTL- Trade and POS
    • Developed Relationships with Country GM’s and Local Marketing managers and/or Publicity Managers

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Marketing

    Experience

    • 5 years’ experience in a marketing or brand management role from any consumer facing business.
    • Focus on understanding customer and developing marketing propositions to drive purchase and brand affinity.
    • Knowledge and understanding of operations, technical, broadcasting and production background
    • Understanding of the model for working and developing campaigns with agencies and management of multiple stakeholders
    • Strong understanding of markets and customers
    • Project management knowledge and experience
