    Marketing Manager, SSA

    Your Career as a Marketer in Trend Micro

    As a Field Marketer, you are responsible for creating and maintaining client relationships, coaching and nurturing subordinates, analyzing statistical marketing research data. You are accountable for work closely with creative production agencies and market research firms for marketing campaigns and development of marketing plans. This role will provide opportunities to explore different areas of marketing (from Integrated Campaigns, Events, Awareness/Brand Building/Thought leadership, Social Media Activations, managing creative agencies, CRMs, campaign management, email campaign. You will be working with the PR & Communications agency on participation in marketing events, industry forums and conferences in the region, and the business development team on sales activities. You will work with the events agency to professionalize and deliver high quality events along with embrace digital tools and improve our processes.

    How You Will Make a Difference

    • Implement the regional marketing plan in SSA region
    • Work closely with senior leaders to deliver their strategic objectives, and profiling activities
    • Deliver impactful and innovative campaigns across the region with a strong focus on digital content to resonate with our client
    • Create Brand awareness to the white space accounts
    • Deliver quality thought leadership thinking to clients, publications and collateral on business topics most relevant to them and support the brand positioning

    Our Ideal Candidate

    • Minimum 5-6 years of relevant Marketing Experience and preferably few years in Security Industry.
    • Understanding the proposition for the audience first, what were the differentiators, then started building the content.
    • Has experience drafting content and managing a calendar.
    • Creative side – briefing agency for design. Vendor driven.
    • Account based marketing – gain more traction with accounts - 80/20 rule.
    • Someone who is Trend Micro Culture Fit from core values perspective.
    • Should have exposure to both End Customer Environments and Marketing agencies
    • Provide required domain prospects to sales leadership and continuous marketing support, including sales tools, training, competitive intelligence, and actionable reporting
    • Develop in-depth customer and market knowledge. Communicate market needs and opportunities.
    • Develop short and long-term strategies and plans for demand generation, on-going market research, customer needs assessment, sales and inventory forecasting, and customer and sales history analysis.
    • Execute marketing strategies, programs, various strategies which will meet profit objectives for the business unit.
    • Assist in developing sales and customer training programs and sales tools to support the sales force in response to customer and competitive needs.
    • Provide competitive intelligence to the field sales teams to counter competitive offers.
    • Stay current on market standards, trends and practices and understand impact on Cyber security product line and business.
    • Lead cross functional teams, as needed, to deliver project results.
    • Ability to sell value to CIO, able to sell in complex multiple customer scenario and able to showcase value preposition and sales expertise as applicable
    • Must have growth oriented mindset and experience of working in the collaborative environment
    • Collaborative across various functions such as Sales, Technical, Channel, to ensure customer success at all level
    • Track Record of marketing excellence and MQL and SQL quota over achievement
    • Proven record of excellent communication skills (written and verbal), ability to listen carefully and create a consultative environment
    • Ability to understand the technology and translate it into business needs
    • Ability to network, create and build strong relationships senior executive relationships
    • Excel in presenting business value proposition, solutions, and able to explain the benefits of complex technology in easy-to-understand business language
    • High on ethics and integrity
