    Marketing, Sales & Customer Liaison Officer

     

    What We Are Looking For

    • The Marketing, Sales & Customer Liaison Officer is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of all assigned initiatives / projects within the Business Development Cluster and Business Operational cluster as well as supportive function to Stakeholder activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    Monitoring, controlling and reporting

    • Execute projects to complete on time, within budget, to the desired expectation, and to specification.
    • Continuous monitoring of project progress and reporting thereof.
    • Keep project stakeholders informed on project progress by timeous communication.
    • Ensure effective project communication between all departments.

    Stakeholder Relations

    • Create Stakeholder Relations budget in conjunction with Management
    • Manage Budget according to expenditure for sponsorship activities.
    • Foster Relationships with lower rank stakeholders to enable privileges, access, invitations etc. for the benefit of Management.
    • Support the Management with strategic engagement activities to add value to the department.
    • Communication with high ranking officials regarding upcoming events and participation.
    • Plan and execute workshops, events and functions to promote RDM’s visibility and image.
    • Attend and Travel to respective events to represent the company and coordinate all activities and logistics.
    • Define delegation visit procedure and ensure procedure is adhered to cross-functionally.
    • Coordinate internal company communication to all respective departments regarding expected delegation visits across all four sites.
    • Inform all internal stakeholders of delegation visits, obtain CEO approvals and oversee all planning activities of programme.
    • Coordinate monthly CEO calendar overview and reporting on delegation visits.

    Shows And Exhibitions

    • Lead medium to large size shows/exhibitions from concept to design to delivery.
    • Travel to and support onsite execution and management of shows and exhibitions, including show set-up and take-down.
    • Administer necessary communication to external Stakeholders.
    • Prepare detailed and professional briefs for requirements for every aspect of the event.
    • Lead internal and external meetings with appointed suppliers and contractors.
    • Facilitate problem resolution by identifying risk and cost implications and create solutions to prevent issues.
    • Work closely with the New Business Development & Sales team to compile and maintain an exhibition show calendar
    • Collaborate with marketers to ensure that objectives are met.
    • Support Sales at exhibitions whereby company models and assets require export procedures from start to end
    • Demonstrate creative outputs towards planning, concept and execution of business development and related events.

    What Qualifications You Should Have

    • NQF 7 (Bachelor’s Degree) qualification in Business Management/Administration/Project Management or equivalent.
    • At least 3 years’ experience in project management.
    • Experience working with procurement procedures, suppliers and contractors.
    • Experience in creative outputs such as graphic design and branding would be advantageous.
    • Good interpersonal, facilitation and conflict management skills.
    • Excellent communication, planning and organizing skills.
    • Experience in line management functions required.
    • Highly organized, self-motivated and attention to detail.
    • Innovative with a strong drive to continuously improve processes.
    • Highly adaptive a flexible in a fast changing environment.
