    Master Data Administrator

    Job Purpose

    • This role is responsible for the accurate creation, maintenance and ongoing management of Customer, Supplier and Inventory master data across multiple platforms, including ERP systems, 3PL and 4PL providers, enabling efficient operations, reliable reporting, and enhanced decision-making across the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain and update master data records, including customer, supplier, product, and financial data
    • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple systems
    • Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies
    • Manage data interfaces and mass uploads
    • Perform accurate and timeous data capturing while maintaining high data quality standards
    • Monitor and validate data to adhere to organizational data governance, company standards and compliance requirements
    • Provide ongoing support to business units to ensure effective data management
    • Troubleshoot and resolve master data-related issue
    • Participate in multiple master data related tasks and projects as a team member
    • Support internal business projects to ensure activities are completed within agreed timelines
    • Maintain and support pricing structures within an FMCG environment
    • Provide after-hours support in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
    • Create, maintain and review business standards documentation and user guides to ensure information remains accurate and up to date

    Qualification Requirements    

    • Matric/Grade 12 (Essential)
    • Tertiary Diploma, qualification or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Finance or relate (Desirable)

    Experience Requirements    

    • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience working with Master Data, ERP systems or data administration in FMCG or manufacturing industry (Essential)

    • Advanced Microsoft Office Suit proficiency (Essential)
    • Financial Acumen – Intermediate (Essential
    • Enterprise risk management system principles (Basic)
    • GS1 product data management - Basic (Essential)
    • Business writing and report (Basic)
    • Numerical ability with attention to detail – Intermediate (Essential)
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills – Intermediate (Essential)
    • Customer service orientation and teamwork – Intermediate (Essential)
    • Strong organisational, planning and time management skills (Essential)
    • Good communication and influencing skills across all levels of the business – Intermediate (Essential)
    • Great Plains navigation and data rules experience – Intermediate (Desirable)
    • Working experience in product manufacturing environment 1-2 yrs (Desirable
