MDC Consultant at IQbusiness

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Consultant to join our Multi-Disciplinary team. The Consultant will be responsible for providing expertise as a generalist consultant with expertise that span process analysis, business analysis, design thinking, user experience and design, change management, data insights, project management, and serving as a product owner in Agile Scrum methodologies. This role will involve working closely with clients to understand their business needs, identify improvement opportunities, design efficient processes, and manage projects from initiation to successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis of client business processes, identifying pain points and improvement areas.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Utilise established methodologies and frameworks to evaluate existing processes and recommend optimised solutions.
• Develop detailed business requirements in consultation with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and strategies.
• Plan, organise, and execute efficient project management activities, including defining project plans, timelines, resources, and budget requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and gather requirements from various stakeholders to create comprehensive and actionable project documentation.
• Act as a product owner, leading Agile Scrum teams, defining user stories, and prioritising backlog items.
• Provide guidance and support to development teams throughout the project life cycle to ensure successful delivery.
• Conduct regular project status meetings, prepare progress reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project success and identify areas for future improvement.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance consulting service offerings. An understanding of Artificial Intelligence and cloud technologies would be beneficial.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) across process analysis, business analysis, project management, change management, customer experience design and product ownership.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
• Solid knowledge of process improvement techniques, including Six Sigma, Lean, and BPM.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP) and Project Management (e.g. PMP) is highly desirable.
• Proficient in using project tools and software (e.g. Jira, Trello, Miro, MS Project).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at various levels.
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results within given timeframes.
• Flexibility to travel occasionally for client engagements.
