Efficiently manage appointments and schedules to ensure timely site visits and meetings with customers, contractors, and internal teams
Conduct precise on-site measurements of spaces intended for kitchen designs, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail (eg height/water & electricity connection/doorways etc.) Also include customer specifications and comments (This is in accordance with the company documents and process)
Validate and evaluate stock delivered to ensure it matches the specifications and quality standards outlined in the design plan.
Assess the workmanship of contractors involved in the kitchen installation process, ensuring it meets our quality standards and adheres to best practices.
Advise customers on our product offerings, explaining features, benefits, and the standard sized options available to them.
Collaborate with customers to optimize the layout and design of their kitchen, considering their specific needs, preferences, and budget.
Generate comprehensive reports based on site visits, highlighting any discrepancies, issues, or improvements required in stock, workmanship, and layout.
Collaborate with the design team to incorporate any necessary adjustments or modifications based on site visit findings and customer requirements.
Maintain effective communication with internal teams, contractors, and customers to ensure seamless execution of the kitchen design process.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product innovations, and best practices related to kitchen design and measurements.
Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement, suggesting enhancements to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Provide training to staff and new joiners as required by the Project Manager.
Based in Gauteng for Gauteng catchment area
The measurement specialist will work a 40-hour week with flexible schedule (caveat might not be Monday-Saturday)
Achieve KPIs as set out by the platform manager
Requirements
Qualifications:
Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
Proven experience in conducting accurate measurements in a professional setting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure precision in measurements.
Knowledge of stock evaluation processes and ability to identify and report any quality issues.
Familiarity with construction and contractor workmanship standards.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively advise and guide customers.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
Flexibility to travel to different sites for on-site visits as required.
