Develop innovative solutions for ammunition manufacturing facilities in cooperation with team members of different engineering disciplines.
Design mechanical systems from concept phase to detail design, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety requirements.
Oversee and guide the manufacturing and implementation of designs, ensuring adherence to quality standards, budget, and schedule.
Plan and conduct tests and evaluations to verify equipment and system performance, investigating and addressing any failures.
Support implementation of final products through user training and assistance, compile technical proposals for new business development and interact with clients to support business growth initiatives.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
B. Eng in Mechanical Engineering or higher.
Minimum of 3 years of mechanical design experience in a plant and equipment environment (experience in the defence- or energy industry is desirable).
Proficiency in SolidWorks Mechanical Design and Simulation or similar 3D CAD software.
Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, planning, and organizing abilities.
Interdisciplinary skills related to engineering design, self-motivation, and the ability to work under pressure.
Familiarity with explosive regulations, technical writing, and documentation skills.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
