• A reputable private college in Cape Town is seeking passionate, qualified, and experienced facilitators to join our academic team. We are currently recruiting for the following disciplines:
• Mechanical Engineering Facilitator/Lecturer
• Carpentry Facilitator/Lecturer

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging theoretical and practical training sessions.
• Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments.
• Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate learner records and academic documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance and institutional policies.
• Mentor and support learners throughout their studies.
• Promote a safe and productive learning environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering
• National Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant industry experience (minimum 3 years preferred).
• Previous teaching or facilitation experience will be an advantage.
• Assessor and Moderator registration is advantageous.
• Carpentry
• Qualified Artisan (Trade Test) in Carpentry or a relevant qualification.
• Minimum 3 years' practical industry experience.
• Previous teaching, facilitation, or apprentice training experience is advantageous.
• Assessor and Moderator registration will be an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong classroom management and learner engagement abilities.
• Sound technical knowledge in the relevant trade.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
