    Programmatic Media Buyer

    Our client, global leader in online trading, is currently looking to hire a Programmatic Media Buyer to join their marketing team in Johannesburg, South Africa. Reporting directly into the Head of Media Planning and Buying, you will form a key part of setting the tone for the way they ‘do marketing’, balancing speed of delivery with quality, flexibility, performance and cost.

    If you consider yourself an exceptional, well-rounded marketing professional with the ability to lead a responsive network of internal and external capabilities in delivering against a wide range of complex, fast-moving business and marketing requirements, then this is the right opportunity for you! 

    Requirements:

    • 4 years experience in campaign management focusing on AdOps, DV360, DCM and DBM, Google Ads/Analytics 
    • A qualification in Media/Communications and Digital Marketing 
    • Media Planning and Buying experience an advantage 
    • Naturally analytical with the ability to think strategically
    • A self-starting, enthusiastic problem solver
    • A global team player, able to work collectively as part of the marketing team, whilst having the confidence to work independently and deliver objectives and responsibilities
    • A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, making the complexity of a modern digital marketing function simple to understand

    Key responsibilities:

    • To support the Head of Media Planning and Buying with the centralised media planning strategy.
    • Negotiate with media owners and work with media agencies to execute our media plans.
    • Manage programmatic and direct digital activity.
    • Implement tagging and tracking across our digital activity.
    • Coordinating online campaigns.
    • Manage online campaigns by monitoring results to ensure full delivery.
