    Medical Affairs Intern - Midrand

    The Position

    The Medical Intern will assist and support the POD’s and Medical Enabler’s with various aspects of medical affairs, gaining vital practical experience.

    Main tasks and responsibilities:

    As a medical intern in the pharmaceutical industry, your scope of work may include:

    • Landscaping and TAE Mapping: Assist the Medical Enablers in Pre-Launch Landscaping activities and identification of Key stakeholders in the relevant therapeutic area
    • Epidemiological research in different Therapeutic area for local affiliate
    • Assist in creating medical content, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and local SOP’s
    • Medical Event Coordination: Provide support in the coordination of Medical activities
    • Medical Strategy Development: Independent disease and product learning to facilitate engagement
    • Build on PODs medical knowledge through training of the PODs and cross functional teams
    • Medical Information: Learn and understand the principle of provision of Medical Information in accordance with Roche standards and SOP’s
    • Customer Engagement: Provide medical support to primary points of contact e.g. PJPs and HSP to gain an understanding of the needs of external stakeholders

    Required experience and skills:

    • Minimum of NQF6 in Life Sciences
