    Requirements :

    • Minimum Requirements: NQF level 2 (Grade 10 certificate or equivalent). Ability to work under pressure. Basics knowledge of legislative framework and processes relating to messaging.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team. Ability to communicate well with people at different levels. Ability to organize and plan. Sound verbal and communication skills.
    • Ability to act with tact and discretion. Must be self –motivated. Must be prepared to rotate to other units as well as work shifts which include night duty, weekends, and public holidays.
    • Knowledge and application of the Batho Pele principles. Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. It is an inherent requirement of the job to ethical and always maintains confidentiality. Applicant should be prepared to undergo medical surveillance as an inherent job requirement.

    Duties :

    • Distribution of Internal and External memos, circulars and delivering of official documents to various destinations. Assist in Patient’s records and Registry functions. Collect and deliver Basket’s medication to and from Pharmacy Department.
    • Collect and deliver diet slips every morning from various workstation to Main Kitchen. Submit Loan sets from Theatre to Clinical Manager’s office daily.
    • Copy and deliver transferred Patients forms from all Psychiatric wards to Matrons and Clinical manager’s offices. Assist in Registry Department when need arise. Adhere to instructions delegated by supervisors/management.
    • Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and Infection Control policies. Be willing to undergo continuous training and development programs. Attend meetings and training as approved by supervisor.
    • Comply with the Performance Management and Development System (Contracting, reviews and final assessment).
