Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Lead at Penta Consulting

Overview:

• Penta Consulting are a technology service provider helping to deliver professional and managed services across EMEA. We are seeking an experienced D365 Technical Lead to join our client on a remote, contract basis. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the technical design, development, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions. This is a 12-month contract with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and project pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical delivery of D365 implementations, including integrations, customizations, and migrations.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and implement high-quality, robust, and secure code that aligns with best practices and organizational standards.
• Oversee the configuration and customization of Dynamics 365 modules (Finance & Operations, Customer Engagement, etc., as applicable).
• Manage and mentor a team of developers, ensuring delivery milestones are met.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development and deployment standards.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the platform.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Technical Lead on D365 (Dynamics 365 F&O, CE, or both) implementation projects.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture, extensions, and best practices.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate), and Azure services.
• Experience with data migration strategies and tools (Data Management Framework, SSIS, KingswaySoft, etc.).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage technical teams and liaise with non-technical stakeholders.
• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 are a plus.
