Microsoft Power Platform Automation Developer - JHB at PwC South Africa

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and implement scalable automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design automation workflows that streamline business processes.
• Integrate Power Automate workflows with other Microsoft applications (such as SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics 365, etc.) and third-party platforms as needed.
• Troubleshoot and debug automation workflows to ensure reliability and performance.
• Optimize existing workflows for efficiency and performance.
• Build ChatBots and Google Apps Scripts upon request.
• Provide technical guidance and support to end-users and stakeholders. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience developing automation workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
• Strong understanding of Power Automate connectors, actions, expressions, and data operations.
• Experience integrating Power Automate with other Microsoft applications and third-party platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript or PowerShell is a plus. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Power Automate certification(s) is a plus.
• Experience with UiPath, Power Apps, Power BI, and other Microsoft Power Platform tools is desirable.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience) or similar

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2-3 years in an Automation Developer role
• Minimum 1-2 years in a Microsoft Power Platform Developer role.
