Mid-Level Quantity Surveyor at Hire Resolve

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to advise on budgetary requirements.
• Manage and track project costs to ensure adherence to budgets.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to review project specifications.
• Evaluate contractor bids and prepare tender documentation.
• Assist in negotiations with contractors and suppliers to secure the best value.
• Monitor progress and advise on any adjustments that may be necessary.
• Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and methodologies.
•  Strong background in civil/infrastructure projects and building works,
• Experience working with the NEC3 contract.
• Proficiency in cost estimation and project management software.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
