    Middle Manager Programme Development

    Introduction

    • Task Grade: M17 Department: Programme Development Business Unit: Energy Market Services Location: Simmerpan, Germiston Area of specialization: To direct and programme manage the Independent Power Producer Programmes under which the Central Purchasing Agency (CPA) is the Buyer in order to ensure successful implementation including programme management of the programme and to provide oversight to the National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA), Eskom, and the external stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Define the programme and provides strategic direction to the programme.
    • Provide guidance and expert knowledge to the NTCSA and the designated committees (internal and external) for the screening, prioritisation and selection of successful Independent Power Producers.
    • Develop and manage relationships with the project team and key internal and external stakeholders.
    • Strategy and policy development.
    • Contract, financial and business management related to the programme.
    • Sets the standards for uniform project and programme data and information collection, consolidation and reporting to the NTCSA, Eskom, and external stakeholders.
    • Mentoring, coaching and skills transfer.

    Minimum requirements
    Qualification(s):

    • B Degree / B Tech in Engineering , Commerce / Marketing / Business Management / Project Management at NQF 7 with 360 Credits

    Experience:
    7 years of working experience in extensive business and project management and financial management.
