Mine Planner at Hire Resolve

Description:

• Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Mine Planner to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining integrated mine plans and schedules to support safe, efficient and optimised production across short, medium and long-term horizons.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain short-, medium- and long-term mine plans to support production targets and operational efficiency.
• Design and optimise pit layouts, sequencing and production schedules.
• Integrate geological and survey data into mine planning and scheduling activities.
• Support drill and blast planning and production optimisation processes.
• Use mine planning and scheduling software to develop and update operational plans.
• Monitor plan compliance and adjust schedules based on operational requirements and constraints.
• Collaborate with geological, surveying and production teams to ensure aligned planning outputs.
• Provide planning inputs to support decision-making, reporting and operational performance improvement.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering/Mine Planning/Surveying
• 5 years' experience as a Mine Planner within an opencast mining environment
• Experience in short-term, medium-term and long-term mine planning
• Knowledge of mining software's
• Blasting Certificate for Opencast Mines (Advantageous)
• Experience in drill and blast planning, pit design and production scheduling
